The role

Residential Property Paralegal

The role

Our highly experienced residential property team are currently recruiting for a Paralegal to deal with a full range of residential property transactions.  The role will involve working closely with the Partner and Senior Associates in the team assisting them with a varied case load of residential property matters and taking on responsibility for some aspects of transactions.  A competitive salary and excellent benefits package are offered.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a confident team player, with strong communication skills and an excellent attention to detail.  You should ideally be a qualified residential property paralegal or have experience of residential property work and be able to demonstrate an up to date knowledge of property law.  Excellent organisational skills and an ability to prioritise a busy workload are essential.  You will be pro-active, flexible and reliable with an ability to work well under pressure.

Viewing Agent

The Role

We currently have a vacancy for a Viewing Agent within our Residential Property Team in Aberdeen.  Our team deal with a large portfolio of properties throughout Aberdeen City and Shire.  This role involves meeting viewers at properties, showing them round, providing information about the property, giving feedback to our Residential Property Team on how the viewing went and ensuring the property is secure.  The hours available are:-

  • Monday 9am to 4pm
  • Tuesday 9am to 1pm
  • Wednesday 9am to 1pm
  • Thursday 9am to 5pm
  • Friday 9am to 5pm and 5.30pm to 8pm

Please note that these are the hours cover is required for and the actual hours worked will vary depending on viewing appointments arranged.   This role would be considered on a job share basis if preffered.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for part time work and with an interest in the property market. 

Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent people and communication skills.  They must be reliable with good time keeping and flexible in regard to working hours.  Previous experience is not required but experience in customer facing roles would be beneficial.  A full clean drivers licence and own car are essential.

Insight Weeks

Work Placements

Stronachs also offers school pupils across Aberdeen City and Shire the opportunity to complete a placement week with us and gain an introduction to working life at a full-service law firm.
