John MacRae Partner

John is a graduate of Aberdeen University and trained in Edinburgh. John moved to Aberdeen in 1996 and over the past 10 years he has specialised in corporate law working for two commercial law firms in Aberdeen in the latter achieving partner level. He joined Stronachs in June 2006.

John has considerable and wide ranging experience in general corporate and commercial law and over the past 10 years he has been involved in a number of significant transactions in the Energy Sector in Aberdeen. His experience ranges from Corporate Finance to Acquisitions and Disposals both in the Service Company Sector and Upstream Oil and Gas. He has also dealt with general commercial advice and developed a specialism in employee share schemes.

John is listed as a recommended corporate and commercial lawyer in the 2009 edition of the Legal 500.
